It has the same sticker on the back of the headstock, which came on Fender products from that year. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI don’t know the story behind the engraving on the neck plate, it was on the guitar when I bought it. The back of the neck was very glossy, so I did the trick of slightly knocking the gloss off with a scotch brite pad.
